HOW TO: a program of educational and instructional films and videos Starting with, then departing from, the idea of the instructional film, tonight's program offer lessons, testimony, demos, and overall guidance. Perhaps more skewed than conventionally helpful, the program, take note, is decidedly enriching. In addition to the usual concerns with exercise and power tools, topics to be addressed will include mourning and etiquette; establishing an art academy; and confronting utopia. Be prepared to take notes.

Work to include: Stephen Matheson's Stanley, Neil Goldberg's A System for Writing Thank You Notes, Steve Reinke's Anal Masturbation and Object Loss, Animal Charm's Body Prep, Brittany Gravely's Introduction to Living in a Closed System, and more.
