Joel Felix
Joel Felix was born and raised in the Downriver Detroit area. As an adult, he settled in Chicago where he co-edited LVNG magazine for ten years. He holds an MFA from Bard College and presently serves as an Associate Director of Curriculum in the University of Washington's School of Public Health. He lives in Seattle with Candice Rai and their son Sanchaman. Limbs of the Apple Tree Never Die (Verge Books, 2013) is his first book-length collection.
